One of the things that sets Harvest apart from all the other music festivals is the commitment to holding a sacred space for learning and healing. Pastor Justin, Flip Ruttledge, and Mama Luna will begin the weekend by blessing and inviting the spirit into these sacred circles.

Herb Walk with Sierra

Walk around the farm with herbalist Sierra Bigham and learn to identify wild plants and explore their medicinal and edible uses. Learn some easy preparation methods and practical ways to incorporate these abundant wild plants into your life.

American Sign Language Essentials

A workshop led by Anna Trupiano dedicated to introducing the Deaf world and culture to anyone and everyone willing to learn about it! The workshop will include some basic American Sign Language signs, explanations of Deaf cultural norms, and stories, perspectives, and experiences from a member of the Deaf community.

Death Café

MADDIE'S CIRCLE: SAT at 2:00P
Presented by Hospice of Michigan: A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda as opposed to a grief support or counseling session. The objective is simply to help us all 'make the most of our finite lives'. Since 2011, there have been over 5,000 affiliate Death Cafe's in 51 countries. To keep with tradition, facilitators will bring a cake to share (GF). BYO refreshments, cutlery & tupperware. *Please use discretion with children who may wish to attend.

Anyone can learn to sing harmony with enough practice, guidance and tailored listening. We’ll start with some sonic breathwork, then wake our voice with a warming chord. After this, we’ll build vocal independence with pitch matching and interval games. To close, we’ll learn a simple, soothing song to ease ourselves and our fellow campers into the day.
